Many people react to the sensation of pain and discomfort by opening the bag (or the drawer) and pulling out various kinds of medicines and swallow them to be sure that the pain vanishes quickly. When the pain desappears, they forget it and go back to their usual life.
What's wrong with that?
Lots of things . The most important, in my opinion, is this one:
The drugs do not act on the cause of the discomfort, instead they hush the effect. Pain is a signal that the body sends us to put us on alert. It wants to tell us say "Hey! There's something wrong here! I need help!" If we respond with a medicine, that's how we answer : "Shut up! Have something better to do!"
Instead it's much more useful to try to understand why we feel bad, what's wrong, what are the causes and what can we do to prevent the pain, rather than hush it. For this reason it is important to learn to understand what are our reactions to various stimuli: fatigue, stress , moodiness , lack of sleep, lack of sports ... in order to act accordingly. For example, we can get more sleep, relax with a nice session of dry-brushing and essential oils, turning off computer, TV and smarphones, having an invigorating walk, a constructive dialogue, and nourishing our bodies properly.
Many of the ailments we get come from a poor diet. When I eat bad food, for example, I find myself with various unpleasant sensations: PMS , bloating, fatigue, irritability, insomnia, colds, headaches ... all things that disappear fast when I nourish myself with conscientiously chosen the ingredients.
Let the medicine at the pharmacy until you just can not resist anymore... and have a walk! In this way you can save money and health! ... Remenber: drugs always go with by those interesting leaflets which describe word for word all their possible side effects.
Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food.
Moltissime cose.
Aiuto!".
When you have a objective in mind, you have to commit 100% to it - in every single moment. Push yourself beyond your limits... often we are surprised by how much we can do when we break up our self-imposed mental blocks.
Beauty is love. First of all to yourself.
Beauty is peace, quiet, simplicity, order.
We all need beauty in our hearts, that kind of beauty which sets us free from physical and mental disorder.
Beauty, in all its forms, is an essential ingredient of happiness, and human beings need it more than they would like to admit. Our soul needs beauty as our body needs air, water and nutrients. Without beauty you become sad and depressed.
You can always try to bring a little more beauty in your lives; it's easy. Details are very valuable because, when they are neglected, they are as annoying as jangles in a lovely song. Listen to good music, touch materials which are pleasant to touch, enjoy the perfume of flowers, admire the leaves of a tree, listen to the sounds of nature... all these things attract us, give us energy and pleasure, and elevate our spirit.
We read up for so many things, we search for the best mobile phone to purchase, the best car to buy, we carefully choose clothes, accessories and make up... But how do we behave towards food?
Do we pay the same attention towards what we eat?
Do we invest time and energy to collect the information that allows us to choose the best food, or do we let our unconscious or the society to do it for us?
Why do we eat without thinking (and not knowing) where does it come from what we put in our mouths? What is it made of? What impact does it have on our mind-body system and on the planet?
Most people behave as if what they ingests had no effect on their bodies and minds. This is very problematic because it is not true.
We are what we eat, at all levels.
